5. The Ladies Room
This was one of India’s earliest web series. It released on YouTube in 2016 by YFilms. The show is about two best friends who are navigating through the journey of their life together. This new age show tells it like it is and covers a wide range of topics from safe sex to job hunting and paying rent to social media. The Ladies Room is a show that will have you hooked on to it from the word go, thanks to Dingo and
Khanna’s crazy chemistry. Not only will this show keep you entertained, but if you’re a woman struggling through life, it’s a sure fire reminder that you’re not alone.
4. Permanent Roommates
Permanent Roommates is one of the earliest and most successful work from content powerhouse The Viral Fever. It was a fun romantic series meant for teenagers or young adults. The show deals with a couple who were in a long distance relationship for nearly 3 years before taking on the prospect of marriage. Tanya and Milkesh are the lead protagonists. Tanya feels she’s not ready for marriage, so she convinces Milkesh to move in with him.
The first season of this show was broadcasted on YouTube, however the second season was aired TVF Play – an online streaming service that caters exclusively to TVF content.
3. Little Things
Little Things stars India’s favourite OTT actress Mithila Palkar. The series is about her relationship with Dhruv Sehgal, her live in partner. It talks about a modern day relationship between two working young adults in their 20s navigating through the ups and down of life and in their relationship. Initially, Little Things aired on Dice Media, which is Filtercopy’s sister channel. Eventually the show became so successful that Netflix acquired the rights to it and it is now available for streaming on both these platforms.
2. Mind the Malhotras
There are shows you can watch alone, there are shows you can watch with your
partner or with your friends and then there are shows that you can watch with your
entire family. Starring Cyrus Sahukar and Mini Mathur, Mind the Malhotras is a family comedy-drama series that is streaming on Amazon Prime. The show chronicles the Father, the Mother and their three kids and how they navigate through adulthood and face up to challenges that parenting throws at them. Neither the kids in the show nor their parents are conventional and this show definitely warrants a watch for their chemistry and hilarious fights.

1. Sacred Games
Sacred Games is probably one of the most intense shows on this list, but the crime-thriller series will have you hooked right from the first episode. The series is based in Mumbai and it begins when Saif Ali Khan receives an anonymous tip. The caller turns out to be one of Mumbai’s most wanted gangsters who goes on to tell him that he has 25 days to save his city. The series contains multiple timelines, a lot of action, suspense and plot twists. The show is based on Vikram Chandra’s book of the same name and its first season was very well received. Viewers everywhere are waiting for season 2 with bated breath.
